Visa 485 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 500:
• If OVHC coverage for 485 visa has not expired >> still be covered under OVHC for 485 while on Bridging visa.
• If OVHC coverage for 485 visa expires >> must purchase OVHC for Bridging visa.
OSHC coverage for the 500 visa is not valid during this bridging period.
Visa 600 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 500
• If OVHC coverage for 600 visa has not expired >> still be covered under OVHC for 600 while on Bridging visa.
• If OVHC insurance for 600 visa expires before receiving 500 visa >> must be purchased OVHC for Bridging visa.
Visa 600 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 485
• If OVHC coverage for 600 visa has not expired >> still be covered under OVHC for 600 while on Bridging visa.
• If OVHC coverage for 600 visa expires >> OVHC for 485 visa will cover for you when holding Bridging visa.
Visa 500 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 600
• If OSHC coverage for 500 visa has not expired >> OSHC will cover for you for holding Bridging visa
Visa 500 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 485
• OVHC insurance for 485 visa will cover for you while holding Bridging visa. OSHC coverage is terminated during this time.
Visa 500 >> Bridging visa >> Visa 500
• The new OSHC 500 insurance will cover you while you are holding the Bridging visa but the condition is you have to purchase a new OSHC continuous with your previous OSHC.
